Hi Everyone,

One of the numerous activities for our residents (Vintage Gardens South Residents joined us) during Active Aging Week was a road trip to Lewis & Clark State Park for a picnic and a trolley ride through historical Atchison, Kansas. Delicious lunches were packed for our residents who dined at the Park in a picnic area right by beautiful Sugar Lake. The residents loved the view and enjoyed reminiscing about past picnics with their loved ones. After satisfying their appetites, they journeyed on to Atchison where they enjoyed a Trolley ride with a tour guide to explain all of the sights. It was a very educational trip loaded with information regarding the many different historical buildings. The residents kept expressing, on the way home, their happiness at being able to take such an interesting trip!

Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless You.
