Hello Everyone,

If you have watched the TV game show " Deal Or No Deal "then you will understand how Strong Life director, Ida Caw has made exercising more fun for many of our residents. Ida and VGS resident Tommy Neel created their version of the show called " Win Or No Win" to promote the Handweight Class held each week at 2:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays. Enlarged Barbie Paper doll cutouts have been copied to resemble the girls on the hit show each holding numbered suitcases. Residents who participate in the Handweight class are eligible to pick one of the " girls" suitcases whose number will be put in the drawing. After all the numbers have been chosen, then a drawing will be held to see who wins. The more the residents show up for exercise, the more chances they have to win. Ida reports that the number of residents attending the Strong Life Handweight classes have increased greatly because of the game. Everyone has had so much fun with this as they get connected while getting stronger.
