Vintage Gardens North's Strong Life Program offers a variety of personal and group exercise classes for our residents to improve and/or maintain their strength.  Something new and exciting was scheduled for our residents this past Tuesday.  Sixteen residents were pampered and rejuvenated by receiving a complimentary chair massage provided by students who are studying Message Therapy at Vatterott College.

The results from Therapeutic Massage are numerous including:  increased joint flexibility, reduced muscle spasms/cramps, relieves anxiety/depression, promoting better posture and overall muscle relaxation.  Many residents said that this was the first massage they had ever had and they really enjoyed it.  One stated, as she left, that she was walking straighter, and several commented about how much better their neck, shoulders, and back felt.  Just about everyone wanted to know how soon we could schedule Chair Massages again!  The students also had a great time and wanted to come back soon.  At this time, we plan to have them back on a monthly basis.  This is just another great benefit of our Strong Life Program!

Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless You.
