If you have lived in St. Joseph for your whole life or at least most of your life, then you will remember many events, buildings and landmarks that many of us won't remember.  This week those memories came flooding back to a few of the Vintage Oaks residents when Clyde Weeks, Robidoux Row Museum, brought his slideshow presentation of St. Joe buildings and landmarks that are either gone or still here but not in it's original form.  He had many pictures of what downtown St. Joseph used to look like, trains and trolleys, the St. Joe Stockyards and even some restaraunts and hotels that are no longer standing.  It was amazing to see the transformations that St. Joseph has gone through and grown to.  Clyde was known by a few of the residents for his being a teacher in the St. Joseph School system, for many, many years.  He had some very interesting facts about our wonderful town and we can't wait to have him back with more.  Have a great week!

God Bless,

Beth Brand
