Easter, to a Christian, is a very special holiday to remember that Jesus Christ died for all of us.  It is a time that we remember His sufferings but also the "new life" that created for all.  We see new life all around us at this time of the year: flowers coming up, trees blooming and budding, livestock in the fields and our new-found energy from the sun and nice weather.  Vintage Oaks residents got together this week and celebrated with an Easter luncheon at the clubhouse.  One of the residents furnished a whole, spiral cut ham and the potato salad and another provided strawberry pies that were to die for and the rest of the meal was put together as an Easter gift from our very own Director, Beth Brand.  We had a wonderful time and we all had plenty to eat.  Just like most celebration meals, we all had too much to eat, but it was all so good!!  I hope you take time this Easter weekend, with your family, to remember what the real reason for this holiday is and to thank God for the gifts he has bestowed to each and every one of us.  God bless you and have a wonderful weekend!
