Easter Celebration at Vintage Gardens Assisted Living North
Easter is my favorite time of the year, until about Dec. 1st, and then Christmas is! However, there would be no reason to celebrate Christmas without Easter. I love Easter and celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. What an awesome God we have that He would give His life so that each of us may have eternal life with Him. It's truly amazing! One of the ways that our residents choose to celebrate Easter is to fill plastic eggs with candy. We then invite the staff's children that are preschoolers to participate in an Easter egg hunt. The eggs are usually hidden outside but this year, due to inclement weather, we had the hunt in our family room. The residents had a ball watching the children scramble to fill their baskets with eggs. Happy children always bring smiles to our resident's faces. Everyone had a great time!
Have a safe and Happy Easter and God Bless You.
