Vintage Gardens South resident Estella Miller was sidelined a few months ago with a broken hip that required surgery and made her uneasy about transferring and moving around in general. That is until she started participating in the therapy and classes offered as part of our "Strong Life " program. At the urging of "Strong Life" director Ida Caw who started slow with getting Estella interested in attending a few classes and trying out some of the equipment located in the "Strong Life" center. After a few very productive months, Estella is now a regular participant in the daily exercise and wellness classes, and has mastered the Nustep machine that provides strength training to the upper and lower extremities. She is feeling so good now she has offered to give rides up and down the hallway on her new bright blue walker. Her family is amazed how far she has come and how well she is doing.

Have A Great Weekend!
