Farmer's Market Is A Highlight Of Summer for Vintage Oaks Residents (Vintage Senior Living Campus, St. Joseph, MO)
When you think of summer, there are always things that pop in your head immediately: swimming pools, baseball, fun & sun, and fresh veggies and fruit from the farmer's market. A couple of the Vintage Oaks residents got out and made a selection of thier summer favorites, this week. There is nothing better then barbequeing and having fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers and much more, to add to the layout. I don't know about you, but my family loves cabbage on the grill, too! We have some wonderful local farmers that produce some delicious fruits and veggies. St. Joseph has a great farmer's market with a lot of variety. If you haven't been able to go, they are open on Wednesday's and Saturday's in the parking lot next to Perkins. If you are wanting some locally grown food, visit the local venders. Have a great weekend!
God Bless,
