Vintage Senior Living

Every week, residents from Vintage Oaks get together for one event or another and enjoy company from each other.  This week has been no exception to this, but the last month or so, we have been missing an element in the clubhouse that we came to love...our music stations on the cable channels.  With the take over from a different cable company, we lost our loved music channels that we listen to while having meal shares, working on puzzles, playing dominoes and cards.  So, we came up with an alternative and invested in a new Sonos music system.  Wow! is all we can say.  It is a wonderful sounding system that we control from our computer or the director's cell phone.  How amazing is that?!!  

The system will play different internet music services such as Pandora.com or music from your own collection (iTunes or any program like that),  and we have created our own "radio station"  with artists and music that we like the most.  It is so easy that the residents can even run it.  We are so blessed to have such wonderful technology at our fingertips and especially blessed to have an owner who really thinks about the residents and their wishes.  Thanks, Joe!  Have a wonderful weekend and if you get a chance, go to www.sonos.com and check what it is all about.  You will want one.
