Vintage Gardens South residents took a trip down memory lane as they gathered together to show and talk about precious mo-mentoes acquired from loved ones and during their travels. Many of the items brought up discussions about former department stores and shops that were located downtown years ago. Everyone enjoyed hearing about the various items that ranged from ivory and jade animal statutes  from Alaska to a shirt from the early 60's purchased from the former women's apparel store the "Paris". It was great to get connected with each other and the past.
