Vintage Senior Living

The Rolling Hills Library was hopping with people on Thursday morning and a few of us were right there with them.  The library had Savvy Senior Day…a day devoted to seniors in the community.  There were booths, snacks, demonstrations and a ton of information on various things.  Pat Adams, Jan McCrory and I sat in on a demonstration on e-readers.  These are electronic book readers that you can download many, many books on so you don’t have to carry around 10 individual books.  Instead, all of them are on the e-reader.  Pretty neat stuff!  We also watched, dance couple, Larry and Judy Clark.  They had part of their dance team with them and they demonstrated many different styles of dances.  They were fantastic and we can tell that they really love what they do.  The couple gives dance lessons in their home and does many performances throughout the year.  The morning was exceptional and we had a great time.  We can't wait to see what the library does for Savvy Senior Day, next year!  Have a great weekend.
