Vintage Gardens Assisted Living North Treats Marjory Smith to Special Brunch
This month several of our residents participated in our potato salad contest. Each contestant provided their best recipe and Debbie Milichichi, one of our cooks, purchased the ingredients, and the residents made their own potato salad. The next day, the salads were available for staff and residents to sample and vote for their favorite. Of course, no one knew who made which salad, except Debbie, and she wouldn't tell anyone! All of the salads were really delicious and it was hard to select just one! After all the votes were counted, Marjory Smith was declared the winner. Her prize was that she and two guests were treated this past Sunday to a wonderful brunch provided by Debbie. The menu consisted of Eggs Florentine, bacon and sausage, assorted fresh fruit, biscuits, assorted juices, milk and coffee. The meal was served on crystal tableware brought in just for this occasion. Marjory, and her son, Mark, and daughter-in-law, Ronda, were truly blessed with the exceptional meal and service. Marjory told me the next day that the brunch was fabulous and they all felt like royalty!
Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless You.
