Harvest Party at Vintage Gardens Assisted Living North
Our residents really enjoy passing out candy to children dressed in costumes for Halloween. Our annual Harvest Party gives them the chance to see youngsters in costumes and to bless them with candy. Last night we had the staff's children or grandchildren come to "trick or treat" our residents. Twenty children were attired in every imaginable costume and all paraded by each resident to receive their treat. The residents had a ball and of course the kids thought it was great that they received so much candy! After the trick or treaters had gone home, the residents were then treated to Michelle Conard's delicious apple cake and Becky Graham's delectable chex mix, with apple cider to wash it all down! Everyone agreed that this year's Harvest Party was a huge success!
Have a wonderful weekend and God Bless You.
