Hi Everyone,

Our goal for our residents is for them to get stronger, healthier, and connected. One of our residents, Sylvester Lager, recently far exceeded everyone's expectations. When Sylvester moved in, his family provided sitters for him around the clock since he was not able to get out of bed or do anything for himself. His family was hoping that with our restorative environment he would improve. Well, indeed, he did! Sylvester started getting healthier with the excellent care from our nursing department and before long he was able to get out of bed, take care of his needs. and propel himself in his wheelchair. He no longer has sitters and only needs minimal assistance! He has also started participating in our Strong Life Program to strengthen his muscles even more. We're proud of Sylvester and our wonderful restorative environment! Pictured below is Sylvester going to the dining room without assistance.
