Vintage Gardens Assisted Living Residents Enjoy Historic Properties Tour
This year residents from Vintage Gardens Assisted Living North and South teamed up to take in our annual Historic Properties tour held in the fall each year. The group visited ten historic properties in downtown St Joseph and surrounding areas. "Strong Life" director Ida Caw, a local history buff led the tour and had a story to tell about the origin and lineage of each property visited' New to the tour this year were two historic homes located on Agency road that were the former homes of two current Vintage Gardens South residents, Marguerite Gaarder and Joe Harris who were former next door neighbors. The group enjoyed getting connected while taking this trip down memory lane.
