Vintage Oaks Residents Tap Their Toes at Historic Missouri Theater
I think it is fair to say that major memories of the different decades would be, clothing and music. Everyone remembers the styles they wore in their prime, the fun activities that they did and the music that was popular. Needless to say, when the Vintage Oaks residents heart that "In The Mood: a 1940's musical revue," was going to be at the historic Missouri Theater, the line formed quickly to get tickets for the event. The night brought back many memories of days gone by. The big band brought songs like: In The Mood, I've Got A Gal in Kalamazoo, Green Eyes, Moonlight Serenade, We'll Meet Again, and much, much more. Along with the music was dancing from a dance company that brought back the fun and fast dances of the 40's. What a night of toe tapping it was and will not soon be forgotten. The music and dance was wonderful but the memories that it brought back were fantastic. Have a great weekend!
