Vintage Gardens Assisted Living North Hosts Resident Appreciation Candlelight Dinner
Vintage Gardens North works diligently every day to serve and bless our residents. However, each November we honor our residents with a candlelight dinner to create a night they will always remember! Last night we hosted our Residents Appreciation Candlelight Dinner. The residents love to wear their finest for this affair and they looked great as the staff pinned corsages and boutonnieres on them when they came down for dinner. The dining room was transformed into a very elegant, formal, room. Several residents told staff that they were stopped in their tracks when they saw the beauty of the room. They just had to stop and stare at the gorgeous table decorations and the soft lighting and lamps in the room. They loved the small white lights in the trees and plants along with the candles throughout the room. The effect was magical! The residents were blessed with soft background music provided by a wonderful violinist, Jennifer Clark. Each one received a small box filled with chocolate hugs and kisses. One resident was in tears when he left that night because he was so overwhelmed with the whole evening! Another resident said they could have gone to the finest restaurant and not had any better decor, food, service, or entertainment. I also heard several exclaim that this really made them feel very special! We love our residents, and always want them to feel special, so the evening was a fabulous success!
Have a great weekend and God Bless You.
