Vintage Senior Living

Preparing for the Christmas holiday is stressfull.  Making sure there are enough gifts for everyone, if you've spent the same for all, and is there enough food in the house can really get to people.  A person is tired before the big event even gets here!  At Vintage Oaks, we decided that we would have a "calm before the storm" day and relax before our worlds got crazy, so we got together and and watched the movie, The Help.  It is a great movie about what it was like for "the help" in the south in the 1960's.  It brought comedy, laughter, tears and sometimes disgust in the array of emotions but in the end, it was a wonderful movie and we would highly recommend anyone to see it.  Those couple of hours were just what we needed to wind down and regroup before the hustle and bustle of the holidays started in.  We cherish our time together and love that we can all help each other when we need it...even if the helping consisted of sitting around for a couple of hours.  We hope and pray that your holiday season will be wonderful and spent with people who love you.  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
