Villas at Vintage Oaks: Glenn Miller Orchestra gets us "In The Mood"
There is nothing better than a big band with saxaphones, trombones, trumpets, clarinets, drums, standing bass and a piano, all on a stage to get the memory flowing. Tuesday, September 29, residents from the Villas at Vintage Oaks enjoyed time together at the historic Missouri Theater as we listened to the Glenn Miller Orchestra. They played many of his well known songs like, "String of Pearls," "Moonlight Serenade," "Pennsylvania 6-5000," and "Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree." The theater was filled with humming, singing and clapping and was so much fun! We also had residents from Vintage Gardens North join us for the event. We all had a great time and look forward to the next outing. Check out the short video below!
