VGN: Resident's Appreciation Candlelight Dinner
Hi Everyone,
Every November we try to show our residents how much we love them by honoring them at our Resident's Appreciation Candlelight Dinner. Last night we transformed our dining room into a special place by adding solt lamps, little white lights in the trees & plants, and beautiful gold hurricane candle centerpieces on each table. The tables were adorned with green suede tablecloths, linen napkins shaped into fans, gold foil wrapped Lindor Chocolates, and heart shaped decorative tins filled with chocolate kisses.
As the residents entered the dining room each received a corsage or boutonniere. The menu was broccoli salad, pork tenderloin with apricot glaze, twice baked potato, green beans almondine, spiced apple rings, rolls, and petit fours for dessert. To the resident's delight, sparkling grape juice was served throughout their meal.
Making the evening complete, a very talented harpist, Erin Greer, played softly while the residents dined. Many residents commented on what a splendid, memorable, evening it was! They were blessed!
Have a super weekend and God Bless You.
