Hi Everyone,

Each Christmas our residents select a charity to support that will bless those who are less fortunate. Operation Christmas Child, through Samaritans's Purse, offers a perfect way for our residents to bless a group of children during the Holidays. Donations are collected to purchase small toys, games, school supplies, personal hygiene items, and candy. Then the residents fill shoeboxes with all the items purchased. This year we have enough items to fill 14 shoeboxes! The residents have a great time visiting with each other as they work at completing the packages for the children. It also gives the residents a sense of worth and purpose to know they are blessing needy children! What a good feeling!
