testHi Everyone,

Read a great article this morning stressing that building and creating relationships with others is essential for good health. Isolation and loneliness can create responses within your body similar to stress, especially for persons who have lost their spouse. Loneliness also is a risk factor according to many studies, of developing cognitive problems later on in life.

Studies also have shown that building and maintaining relationships has two main benefits. The first is that relationships help your immune system stay strong, and the second benefit is that relationships give you a sense of perceived usefulness to others. Both of these benefits are very important in maintaining good overall health and well being.

Reaching out and staying connected,

test
