VGN: Residents Watch Robins and Hope for Spring!
Hi Everyone,
Our residents and staff are amazed that a pair of Robins have been seen regularly eating berries from our holly bushes by the front porch. Somehow, these birds missed their southern exodus. The first time that I saw them was when I came in to work recently and the low that morning was 16 below 0! The residents have enjoyed watching the birds and talking about how tough these birds are to survive this weather and hoping that the Robins are a sign of an early Spring. A resident's daughter watched the Robins for awhile and then exclaimed, " See, Vintage Gardens is such a great place to live that the Robins just don't want to leave, even in horrible weather"! Ya gotta love it!
