Hi Everyone,

Last evening our residents and their families gathered together to celebrate Independence Day with a barbeque. We served cheeseburgers, baked beans, homemade potato salad, watermelon wedges, and strawberry shortcake, to about 80 hungry people. The tables and dining room were decorated in red, white and blue to enhance our patriotic theme. Our residents and their guests were entertained by Howard King. He performed a variety of songs that caused everyone to clap their hands and tap their feet! It was a great evening with delicious food, excellent entertainment, beautiful surroundings, and wonderful fellowship! It was also a good time to thank God for our freedom!

Have a safe and happy July 4th weekend.
